Certainly not the cheapest option, however Hardware Wallets are the most secure choice to protect your bitcoins. They store users private keys on offline devices e.g.usb, which stay fully protected even if your device was to be connected to a malware-infected PC. Transactions only take place when your wallet is connected to the internet.

Trezor first launched in August 2014 is an offline cryptocurrency wallet that functions as an USB dongle, allowing users to safely access their coins even on insecure computers. The Trezor interface is well designed and relatively easy for beginners.
